Distinctive Interiors was established by Tim Naisbett over 40 years ago.

Since then, the company has gone from strength to strength, building a reputation in the local area for offering bespoke, high-quality kitchens and made-to-measure fitted furniture, with the large majority of our business coming from word-of-mouth recommendations.

Tim has 40+ years of experience in the industry & is a multi-skilled tradesman, offering electrical work, plumbing, plastering and worktop fabrication, as examples.

We now make all of our units & cabinets ourselves to any height, width & depth required and source all the materials & appliances we need from industry-leading suppliers, ensuring that they are of the highest possible quality.
We offer a complete project management service in design, manufacture, supply and installation, so when you come to Distinctive Interiors, you know that all aspects of the process are covered by one multi-skilled company.

If you come to us for your Kitchen, Bedroom or Fitted Office design, we’ll do our best to be as flexible and accommodating as possible. We’re happy to come to your home in order to assess the space and put a design plan and computer renders together, or alternatively if you have the building plans we are happy to work from those.

Our showroom is located in Colchester, Essex and we are well situated to serve Essex and the surrounding areas such as Ipswich. We’re open six days a week – 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 4pm on Saturdays.
